Expansion, due to a sharp increase in funds under management, necessitated a move from the flagship Economist building in St James's to a newly refurbished site almost opposite.
Gifford Grant carried out space planning and fitting out at Cassini House, including extensive network cabling, a new comms room and the provision of a standby generator situated in the basement car park, together with associated exhaust flue engineering - extending up five storeys.
The project was completed on time and within budget and incorporated acoustic partitioning, Swiss pear veneered folding walls, Category 6 structured cabling, feature limestone flooring in the reception area alongside a curved wall with arrow slits and finished in polished plaster.
