Sponsoring David Such Racing and his distinctive red 1972 Aston Martin V8 is Gifford Grant's latest sponsorship venture.
WHY? David achieves impressive results against much larger and better-financed opposition, with minimal resources. This appealed to the directors of Gifford Grant with its lean and very cost-effective structure.
Since linking up with Gifford Grant, David has won the Aston Martin V8 Handicap championship, and set new V8 records on both the short and long course at Curborough sprint circuit. He has also set a new outright record for any Aston Martin at Loton Park hill climb, among numerous other high placings.
Intensive work during the winter keeps the car competitive in the race for points at circuits all round the UK.
Occasional track days enable selected clients not of a nervous disposition to experience laps of Mallory Park and Goodwood in a special passenger seat.
Wandsworth Rifle Club Teams
WHY? Outdoor, long range, rifle shooting is one of the most challenging sports there is, and calls for high precision and dedicated teamwork. These are qualities that Gifford Grant strives for.
The rifles: 7.62mm single shot target rifles, with 30" stainless steel barrels and precision aperture sights.
Distances: from 300 up to 1,000 yards
Weather: all weathers - shooting does not stop unless targets cannot be seen.
Corporate entertainment: Gifford Grant's subsidiary, Shooting Services, organises corporate shooting days with the help of Wandsworth club members: these days have proved very popular with many Gifford Grant clients.
