What an exciting set of challenges the last four months have brought, here at Gifford Grant!
Having joined the company as a project manager in June, I have yet to experience a dull day. Despite a worldwide market downturn we are bucking the trend, securing numerous contracts in London and the South. Our enviable reputation, alongside strong sales and marketing campaigns, has ensured business has remained buoyant and the contracts department busy.

As promised, details of new Alfa Romeo showroom
When HWM decided to open an Alfa Romeo showroom to complement its existing Aston Martin dealership in Surrey, Gifford Grant was its preferred fit out contractor.
Having successfully fitted out its new and pre-owned showrooms and a new service workshop for this prestige marque, the group’s new Alfa Romeo showroom was also delivered on time, on budget and to our usual exacting standards!

Major external and internal refurbishment project
After a number of years of looking for the ‘perfect’ site for a new European headquarters, Gomaco decided on new premises in Witney, Oxfordshire. The property is ideal for the business model and, although in need of complete refurbishment, offers 15,000 sqft. of workshop/warehouse space, offices, and a large secure yard.
Gifford Grant has been appointed, after a tough tendering process, to completely overhaul the interior and exterior of the premises. The project will be completed early 2010 and we look forward to including photos showing the transformation in our next newsletter. Cars, cars, cars!
As you will have gathered by now, not only do we get involved in fitting out and refurbishing premises for prestige car brands. We are also all a bit car mad!
This became even clearer at our recent track day at Goodwood. The team at Gifford Grant spent a great day entertaining clients, the highlight for whom was a number of laps in a 1974 V8 Aston Martin at speeds of up to 130 mph. Another successful refurbishment......
Chantrey Vellacott DFK needed a fast track refurbishment of 7,000 sqft. of office space on the fourth floor of their Russell Square premises.
After gaining designs and costs from a number of design and build companies, Gifford Grant was appointed to carry out the project. It was a challenging site due to poor access from the street and a requirement for out of hours working to minimise disruption, but as always Gifford Grant overcame all obstacles and delivered the project two weeks early to an excellent standard.
