Gifford Grant carried out space planning and fitting out at Cassini House, including extensive network cabling, a new comms room and the provision of a standby generator situated in the basement car park, together with associated exhaust flue engineering - extending up five storeys.

The project was completed on time and within budget, and incorporated acoustic partitioning, Swiss pear veneered folding walls, Category 6 structured cabling, and feature limestone flooring in the reception area alongside a curved wall finished in polished plaster.

Supplementary air conditioning project
A subsequent contract was awarded to design and install supplementary cooling plant in order to supplement the landlord’s system which proved inadequate in very hot weather. Work included fitting new fan-coil units into a congested ceiling void, and hoisting additional condensers onto fifth floor roof, including arranging a road closure for crane operations.
