refurbish a whole floor of its Russell Square, London offices they sought advice and costs from a number of leading design and build companies.

As one of the UK’s oldest accounting firms working in a ‘cellular’ environment, the changes sought had many challenges.
Gifford Grant was selected on its ability to revolutionise and incorporate better use of space via open plan working.
Having relocated 70 staff onto a vacant floor in the building, Gifford Grant had a tight 6 week programme. The floor was completely stripped out to a shell, and refurbished including: total
redecoration, upgrading
lighting and incorporating PIR sensors, new solid and
glazed partitions to create private meeting/breakout rooms, power and
data infrastructure changes and new staff welfare facility and
tea-point. All was completed a week ahead of schedule, with minor snagging wrapped up within the 6 weeks.
120 employees at Chantrey Vellacott DFK have embraced the changes and their new office environment.
